The serious discussion started after one of the guys divulged (no, that’s not me) that someone approached Marc Macalua inquiring to buy seo.ph and Marc priced it at around Php5,000,000.00 (something near $100,000.00).

If you ask me, okay lang ibenta ni Marc ang domain. we can still use the SEOPhilippines.org and Marc will have the PhP5million

How about you guys?

The real issue guys is, peeps are moving to a new forum, one that won't be sold, non-profit forum.

For me ayos lang ibenta, ang mahalaga lang dapat meron taung place to communicate. The member is what builds up the community and not the domain. pero bago sana mabenta, maayos muna ang relocation site natin.

Pero kidding aside, I totally agree w/ Garry's list ( on his post ) about things to consider before forming again the forum. But I hope, sana nga, my new relocation site na kapag saka-sakaling mabenta na at maback-upan ang mga post dito & ma-restore sa new forum site. Sayang din 'yung mga post.

Ganun din ang tingin ko, since almost same people would be building and running the community. Though, there would be certain changes for sure.

well yeah... come to think of it, he has all the right to sell seo.ph coz he owns it. pero sana, mei malipatan agad tayo na non-profitable nga. para ang mangyayari eh isang org ang mei ari at hindi iisang tao lang
