I have entries but never worked on it and wala na din time makahabol pa in 4 days.

The contest ends in 4 days. And based on my experience and I believe others will agree also, a sudden surge in links in a short span of time could suddenly drop rankings too like a spot or two and goes back up after a month or so.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND SITEWIDE LINKS

Kasi biglaan masyado ito and 4 days na lang natitira, mahirap nang bumaba ng spot, baka no more time to fix it.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND BLOG POST WITH 1 LINK TO THE HOMEPAGE AND 1 DEEP LINK ON ONE OF HIS PAGES.

Pag pa-isa-isang link lang and all from different sites and IPs, it looks more natural.

I RECOMMEND USING DIFFERENT LINK TEXT ASIDE FROM SHOPAUTODOTCA SEOCONTEST ONLY

Again, make it be more natural. The fact na may iba't ibang inbound links, it helps ranking na kahit iba iba link text.

If you have been observing well...

- Alfredo Palconit's entry was doing well sa Ituloy AngSulong and his like text was all varied. Ang tagal nya sa number 1, bumaba lang sa kakakalikot ng homepage before the contest ended, but his site was ranking good.

- My globalwarming awareness2007 site also had a variety of link text.

Other things na baka hindi ninyo napansin...

Vorgermilten SEO Contest: one of the entries, was doing the 301/302 magic to dreamhost. This is like adding 2,000,000+ backlinks. And now ano ano link text nun? None of them were Vorgermilten. But it help.

Ituloy AngSulong - Same thing as above, but worked only on Yahoo during the short period of time. But still, proves the same point.

To sum it up...

Let's help mann3r by:

1. Make a blog post and not a sitewide link.
2. In the blog post have 1 link go to the homepage, and 1 link got to another page on his site.
3. Use variations of shopautodotca seocontest like:

mann3r's shopautodotca seocontest
shopautodotca contest entry
shopautodotca website
shopautodotca seo contest

And sana ma-maintain nya number 1 position up to June 15 (Canada), so June 16 sa Pinas.

Ayaw ko lang mabigla links n'ya kasi baka bumaba and with a small amount of time, baka hindi makabawi. Like ecoloband in globalwarming awareness2007 who was leading in the number 2 and 3 spots but in the last 5 days... bumaba to number 5. My guess was he was adding links (and 301s) too fast.

salamat po sa mga tumulong at sa seo philippines, hope I can maintain that position, the only problem that is bothering me now, if the contest is legit or not, and the email confirming my entry is not yet being replied by the organizer according to their terms. but still I have participated.

If I won and made my entry official, a little surprise for seo philippines members can come, I am not promising but it will come.

Ako nag submit ako, may confirmation email ako, pero tinamad akong gawin website ko. Napagod na ako sa global warming. Pahinga muna.
