Pag uwi ko sa Pinas just in time for the Ituloy AngSulong awarding and probably stay for a week or two, if I come up with a 1-day CSS workshop (or pwede din 4-days), on making tableless CSS websites from scratch, for a paid fee, around P1,888 per head in a venue in QC (I will try to talk to the Informatics in Ever Commonwealth or SM North, or SM Fairview where I might give a percent of the payments to them so I can use the room Most of their rooms can handle about 12 to 15 people maximum.) how many would want to attend?
Since this may be 1-day 8-hour or 4-day 2-hours/day and will be more about CSS tableless designs, I will require all participants to already know HTML basics, and has been making websites already that are made in tables. At least knows some basic Photoshop skills already.
And we will then make CSS websites from scratch. I will teach:
- The basics of CSS
- Advantages of CSS sites over tabled sites
- SEO advantage with tableless CSS Sites - True or a myth?
- Different Document Types (HTML 4.0, 4.1; XHTML 1.0; transitional and strict)
- How to make CSS sites Cross-Browser Compatible using as minimal CSS hacks as possible.
- W3C Validation
- Creating tableless websites from scratch
- Advanced stuff if there is enough time like: SpriteNavs, SuckerFish Dropdowns
I just want to get an idea on how many may be interested in this and if a considerable amount would be interested, then I will start contacting Informatics if they can come up with a room I can rent. If I can't, maybe one of you from a company with a computer lab would like to sponsor this in exchange for hmmm, i don't know. You tell me. Make an offer. If not much are interested then, I scrap the whole thing.
I am also planning on coming up with other seminars/workshops like: How to make money online. And maybe an SEO introduction, I don't know. Let's see based on feedback of everyone.
